Planning Ahead

Important Pertussis Vaccine Information

Every parent has to show proof that their student has received a Pertussis vaccination since their 7th birthday. The attached letter was sent home to parents. Please make sure to get your student to your doctor to ensure the vaccine has been or will be administered by the deadline. Contact the office for more information. Student Safety

This is a reminder to all parents and students to please follow all pedestrian safety rules. Students must only cross at the available crosswalks around Rosemont and must exercise great care in crossing streets. Please remember though the laws provide for pedestrians to have the right of way, cars don't always see our students or follow this rule.

Parents, remind your students that the car will always win in a collision with a student!!! It is not worth a trip to the hospital with any injuries (mild or serious) versus being late to school or taking shortcuts in the streets. Please use care when dropping off your student, be patient, drive slowly, and realize that caution should be exercised around all the schools in La Crescenta. Your child is at risk. Many of you have seen close calls. Be a part of the solution.

Rosemont PTA Donation Drive Your financial contribution will benefit your child, while collectively supporting the needs of the school and student body as a whole. Every dollar you donate will be used to address needs for the current 2011-2012 school year. This year's donation drive theme is "Technology". Did you know that projector bulbs can cost $100 or more? And did you know that funding for many things like projector bulbs is no longer available? You probably know about the financial situation of our schools, so help in any way you can.
